Set up Closima in ten minutes
Three setup steps, then one email rule, and Closima starts doing the filing for you.
The three setup steps
The first time you sign in, Closima asks three things.
- About you. Your name and mobile number. The number prints on your invoices, so use the one agents call.
- Your business. The business name that goes on invoices and emails, and your state. Deadline rules are built for Nevada today. In another state you can still use Closima and set dates by hand.
- Getting paid. Who your fees are paid through (usually your brokerage) and your packages and prices. You can skip this and do it later in Settings.
Then send Closima your email
Most of what Closima does starts with email: contracts, receipts and reports arriving from escrow, lenders and agents. There are two ways in.
- Forward anything to files@closima.com whenever you like. See Send documents by email.
- Set up one Gmail or Outlook rule so documents arrive without you forwarding them. See Have Gmail forward documents for you.
The rule is the bigger time saver. It takes about five minutes, once.
Try it with sample transactions
If you'd like to look around first, open Today and click Load sample transactions. You get five made-up transactions at different stages, including one with an overdue item, one closed and waiting to be paid, and a contract waiting in the Inbox. Everything in them is fictional, and emails to sample contacts are never sent. When you're done, click Remove sample data on the yellow banner.
